About me

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist in Lexington, Massachusetts with specialization in psychodynamic psychotherapy and women’s mental health.

I completed my psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School, during which I served as Chief Resident of Psychotherapy and pursued additional training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. I am currently a Women’s Mental Health and Reproductive Psychiatry Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

I earned my medical degree at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. As an undergraduate studying history at Yale College, I learned to prioritize narrative and multiplicity of perspectives, two concepts which are central to my current work as a psychiatrist.

My philosophy is that early life experiences and unconscious thoughts and feelings shape the way we feel and interact in the present. It is through the trusting and secure therapeutic relationship that we can uncover and understand these patterns and strive for change. I see medications as additional tools to help individuals thrive and engage more deeply in the exploratory work of psychotherapy. I have expertise in the management of psychotropic medications in pregnancy and postpartum.
